July 1996 - Fairford Air Show

The Red Arrows 'syncro pair'.

Concorde, not that it needs any introduction. Have you ever noticed that pilots of other aircraft will point out Concorde to their passengers if it is in view? And it's never 'a Concorde', or 'the Concorde', but just 'Concorde'.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane. Have you ever heard a Spitfire diving at full chat, then pull up, throttle back and roll at the top of its climb? The sound makes the hairs down the back of my neck stand up - nothing else like it in the world.
